Baleria Bahamas Express Fast Ferry Transportation To Bahamas Via Florida

For a relaxing getaway to destinations that are warm year-round, consider a cruise from Florida to the Bahamas. Many cruise lines offer trips that depart from ports in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville and Port Canaveral, and other cruises begin in New York or Charleston, South Carolina before traveling to the two destinations. You can choose trips from just two days to over two weeks and pick the attractions you want to visit, like Disney World, the Kennedy Space Center or the pink-sand beaches of the Bahamas.

The Bahamas are a collection of 700 tropical islands that are about 50 miles east of Florida. The islands have some of the clearest waters on the planet, making them ideal for water sports as well as wildlife watching. Additionally, they are a major cruise port and offer a number of on-shore activities for visitors. The most difficult part of vacationing on the Bahamas is choosing what island to stay on.

Baleria Bahamas Express, owned by Spanish ferry operator Baleria, and the Capo group, announces the first ferry service between mainland America and the charming shores of the Bahama Islands. The Bahamas Express is a 242 foot catamaran capable of carrying over 450 passengers and can make the trip over in about 2 1/2 hours. On board there is a duty-free shop, a bar, movie service and lounges for both First and Economy Class passengers. This new service offers another travel option in the Caribbean rather than normal air travel. The company was created in 1998, and currently employs a staff of approximately 1000 people. Baleria considers quality service adapted to the needs of its passengers essential, so it maintains a continuous commitment to modernizing its fleet with new generation ships. In the last two years, the company has added four new-build ships with a value of $ 459 million to its fleet.
